How does your CNC quoting process work?

Last updated on Oct 26, 2026

1. Upload a part

Select CNC machining, 3D printing or sheet metal fabrication and upload your CAD file. We can also provide a quote for injection molding within 48 hours. All uploads are secure and confidential.

Once you upload your 3D CAD model to our Instant Quote platform, our system will automatically analyze the file and generate a visual preview of your part.

We support files under 200 MB, including these CAD formats: *.step, *.stp, *.x_t, *.iges, *.igs, *.sldprt.

The tool automatically extracts dimensions and volume from your model. You can select from dozens of standard metal and plastic materials with material descriptions available, plus around 20 surface finish options.or specify custom branded / non-standard materials. There is no minimum order quantity; you can start from just 1 piece.

You can switch materials, quantities and surface treatments interactively to view price variations. A base price is generated instantly. Additional costs apply for special features or hard-to-machine geometry.

Barring time zone differences, our engineers typically finish review within around 30 minutes. The final quote and lead time will be sent by email, and also accessible in your quote list or cart. You will also receive professional DFM feedback. You may also view shipping pricing for different destination countries.

2. See prices instantly

Our competitive prices and lead times appear in seconds. What you see is the final price you’ll pay, including shipping, quality control and customs clearance (in certain regions).

3. Specify details

Edit the specifications of your quote to immediately adjust it for volume pricing, different materials, tolerances, secondary processes and more. Feel free to compare multiple quotes side by side. You can also upload a technical drawing and request certifications.

4.Optimize your design

Our Design for Manufacturability (DFM) tool analyzes your design for manufacturing, with tips on how to reduce costs and lead times.
