What surface finish options are provided for FDM printed parts?

The surface of FDM parts can be polished, sandblasted and painted. The standard surface roughness is Ra≤1.6μm, which can meet the needs of general assembly and appearance display.

some high-level surface treatments are not suitable for most FDM materials due to layer lines and material properties. Polishing, mirror finishing and hard anodizing cannot be applied to common FDM plastics to avoid damage and poor adhesion.
